Topics in Quantitative Biology: Cells, Organisms, Populations
BIOL-GA 1134
The course will teach quantitative reasoning of biological processes to students from various backgrounds. Students will learn to analyze models and data in systems ranging from mutating bacteria to the beating heart. Half of the time in class will be devoted to learning mathematical concepts during lecture, and the other half will consist of a “computational lab,” where students work together to simulate biological processes.
